This fascinating wall-sculpture artistically depicts a project site of a subway-cut 100 ft below the streets of Toronto, ON, Canada. The Client, Isherwood Geostructural Engineers, commissions Heather Kocsis to capture the engineering nuances and accomplishments within the art piece. Heather Kocsis visits the site, speaks to the Project Manager, and photographs the excavation. Upon returning to her studio, she creates a compositional drawing proposal that will best articulate the project. Once approved, she starts building. “ES3” is the seventh art commission project between Isherwood and Heather Kocsis.
